A meteor shower lights up the night sky as two couples, Elle and Miles, and Brenda and LaKeith, arrive for their New Year’s Eve vacation in the Pacific Northwest. Isolated in a secluded forest cabin, they slowly realize that they are being stalked by a mysterious shapeshifting entity that can take on the form of any life form it encounters. The couples must work together, putting aside their personal conflicts and entangled romantic pasts, in order to stop the entity and save not only their own lives but those of other potential victims.

CHARACTERS

Elle - Elle is a bright and optimistic young woman who values family and stability above all else. She has long, golden blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that reflect her kind and innocent nature. Despite her wholesome appearance, Elle struggles with infertility and the pressure to start a family with her partner, Miles. She is fiercely determined to overcome this challenge and will stop at nothing to make her dreams of motherhood a reality. Despite her struggles, she remains hopeful. She is deeply devoted to Miles and their relationship and will do anything to protect and support him.

Miles - Miles is a hardworking, loving, and supportive partner to Elle. He is a tall, broad-shouldered man with short, dark hair and piercing green eyes. Despite his gruff exterior, Miles has a kind heart and would do anything to make Elle happy. He is a natural problem solver and often finds himself taking charge in difficult situations. Despite his confidence, Miles struggles with feeling like he is not good enough for Elle and constantly works to prove his worth to her. Despite his insecurities, Miles is a rock for Elle and supports her through her struggles with infertility. He is patient and understanding, always putting Elle's needs before his own.

LaKeith - LaKeith is a charismatic and charming man who is known for his devil-may-care attitude. He is handsome and has a magnetic personality, making him a wild card who is always the life of the party. Despite his loose canon tendencies, LaKeith has a silver tongue and can talk his way out of any situation. He is a confident and bold man who is not afraid to take risks, but this sometimes leads him into trouble. Despite his flaws, LaKeith's charm and good looks always seem to get him out of sticky situations. He is a proud black man who wears his heritage with pride, and his charismatic personality is sure to win over anyone he meets.

Brenda - Brenda is a confident and uninhibited individual who’s always intrigued by new human connections. She is naturally attractive and her upbeat personality draws people toward her. She’s not afraid to ruffle some feathers if it means standing her ground, especially with her partner. Despite her adventurous nature, Brenda is deeply committed to her relationship with LaKeith and values their open dynamic.

Monster - The shapeshifting monster is a mysterious and unpredictable entity, capable of taking on the form of any life form it encounters. It is a force of nature, unbound by the constraints of human morality or emotion. It is cunning, powerful, and relentless in the pursuit of its prey. Its origins are unknown, but it is a being of pure instinct, driven by an insatiable hunger for fighting, feeding and f—... reproducing.

Cop - Pulls over the couple and lets them off with a warning.

Gas Attendant - A backwoods guy who is imposing and scary on the surface but underneath means well.

Hiker - a lone hiker lost in the forest. The first victim on the Figure Imposter.

Hermit - A man who lives off the land in the forest. He knows the workings of nature.
